EGFA Abogados advises Citibank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, and Morgan Stanley Senior Funding in a loan granted to Central Puerto US$180 million.
On June 14, 2019, Central Puerto, the largest private power generation company in Argentina in terms of energy produced, received a syndicated loan for an aggregate principal amount of US$180 million. The proceeds were used to finance the acquisition of Brigadier López Thermal Power Plant, a thermoelectric power plant with an installed capacity of 280 MW located in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, whose sale was awarded to Central Puerto by IntegraciónEnergética Argentina through the National and International Public Tender No. CTBL 01/2018 in February 2019. On the same date, the transfer of the aforementioned plant to Central Puerto was closed.
Citibank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, and Morgan Stanley Senior Funding acted as lenders and organizers while Citibank acted as Administrative Agent.
