EGFA Abogados advises Telecom Argentina in a US$450 million loan granted by IFC.
On March 4, the IFC granted a loan of up to US$450 million to Telecom Argentina, to boost the expansion of broadband coverage especially in underserved regions of Argentina.
The financing includes US$110 million contributed by the IFC, while additional funds will be provided byinternational banks.
The proceeds of the loan shall be applied to the development of telecommunications infrastructure in Argentina, which will drive innovation, productivity and efficiency to all sectors of the economy.
